SYAU has been devoted in excellence to building a strong teaching and research faculty. With the strategy of vitalizing and invigorating the university through talents, SYAU has introduced and attracted a large number of outstanding scientists, researchers and teachers who are engaged in expanding scientific knowledge and educating people. A capable faculty of quality, devotion, vision and social value is the universal standard and goal every faculty member of SYAU is keeping with. People-centered principle has made SYAU’s faculty have every confidence and reason to be up to the standard and closer than ever to the goal.
   Currently, the number of teachers, researchers and staff of the University stands at 1775, among whom, there are 194 professors, 464 associate professors and 825 intermediate technical titles. Among the 981 teachers and researchers, 383 possess the doctoral degree and 425 holds master’s degree. The number of doctoral advisors comes to 145 and that of master’s supervisors is 453.
