On December 23rd, to enrich SYAU international students’campus life with colorful culture, adding cultural elements to promote internationalization of education at SYAU, the New Year Party was held by College of International Education for international students to celebrate the new year of 2017. Over 30 international students from countries such as Korea, Pakistan, Cameroon, and Nigeria joined in the celebration.

International students showed their talent, performing hip-pop dance, rap music and singing popular songs. Paul from Nigeria sang a Chinese song Friend and his well-pronounced Chinese and powerful emotion won rounds of big applause.

At the party, quiz contest, party games, writing New Year Couplets and Character “Fu”( meaning good luck and happiness) in Chinese calligraphy and other cultural activities were well welcomed and enjoyed by international students.
