On April 5
th and 6
th, faculties of ISA-Lille, member school of FESIA (Fédération des Ecoles Supérieures d’Agriculture) in France, visited SYAU, promoting and deepening the cooperative relations between the two institutions. Meeting was held between ISA representatives and faculties and staff of College of Land and Environment, College of Food Sciences and International Exchange Office to discuss the cooperation in carrying out student exchange program and dual degree program with ISA-Lille. Consensus was reached and the two institutions will seek more possibilities to put faculty exchange and other deepened and multi-layer forms of cooperation on track on the basis of the on-going student exchange program.
During the visit, faculties from ISA-Lille paid a visit on the new-built teaching and experimental compound of College of Land and Environment. A preliminary interview was also conducted by ISA-Lille visitors targeting the SYAU would-be exchange students to ISA-Lille.
Founded in the year of 1963, ISA-Lille is a higher institution for teaching and research in agricultural field specializing in environmental sciences, food sciences and animal sciences.
So far, SYAU has received the visit of the three of the four member schools of FESIA, the largest consortium of agricultural higher institutions in France, laying a solid foundation for the continuous and enhanced cooperation and exchange with French and European counterparts as a whole.
