On March 14th, Stéphane Brochier, director of International Commission, FESIA visited SYAU and Professor Wang Tieliang, vice president of Shenyang Agricultural University met with the guest and had a cordial discussion with Stéphane in developing international exchange program and research collaboration.
FESIA (Fédération des Ecoles Supérieures d’Agriculture), the largest consortium of agricultural higher institutions in France is composed of four member schools whose teaching history can be dated back to a century ago. SYAU started the student exchange program with FESIA in 2015 and this year, it is expected that there will be 8 SYAU students studying in FESIA member schools.
During the visit, Stéphane Brochier attended the presentation meeting of FESIA student exchange program and made a program introduction to SYAU students covering the entire exchange process from how to apply, programs of admission and credit transfer, to courses offered and fees occurred. In the presentation session, two SYAU exchange students returning from FESIA member school shared their study and life experience in words and pictures in France.
Director Brochier also visited the SYAU research base and College of Land and Environment.
The presentation was attended by faculties, staff as well as students representatives from International Exchange Office, College of Land and Environment, College of Economics and Management, College of Animal Science and Veterinary Medicine and College of Food Sciences.
