On December 23rd, President Liu Guanglin met with the delegation of Ryukoku University, led by its Presient, Tesshin Akamatsu. Professor Wang Tieliang, SYAU vice president and Mr. Wang Xiaochu, vice president of Shenyang University attended the meeting.
During the meeting, President Liu briefed the guests the schooling history and development of SYAU as well as SYAU’s cooperative relations that have been established in the past years. He said that SYAU is in the key juncture of its leap-forward development when the administration is well-operated and people are working together harmoniously in SYAU. He hoped that as headway had been made in SYAU’s international education, cooperative relations, deepened communication and common development can be realized between SYAU and Ryukoku University.
President Tesshin Akamatsu made an introduction to Ryukoku University. Ryukoku University, founded in 1639, is a comprehensive university equipped with a complete setup of majors, in which the specializations of electronic information, mechanics, environmental science can also be found in SYAU. President Tesshin Akamatsu said the faculty of agronomy of Ryukoku University was just established in April this year and hoped to seek cooperation between SYAU and Ryukoku in jointly education, research and student exchange.
Also present at the meeting were heads of president’s office and College of International Education (International Exchange Office).
