On September 11th, the 2015 International Training Workshop on Safe Production of Grains, sponsored by Ministry of Science and Technology, China and co-organized by Liaoning Science and Technology Department and Shenyang Agricultural University, was proclaimed open in SYAU. Mr. Piao Mingzhe, director of International Exchange Office, Liaoning Science and Technology Department attended and addressed the opening ceremony. Professor Wang Tieliang, vice president of SYAU, delivered the welcome speech at the ceremony.
This year’s training workshop is attended by 20 trainees from 9 countries including Iran, Indonesia, Pakistan, Egypt, Nigeria, Bangladesh, Turkey and Ghana. During the workshop, which will last for 20 days, the trainees will, through lectures and field visits, have a systematic study of the achievements and technology of safe production of grains in China.
Professor Ji Mingshan from College of Plant Protection, SYAU and Amal Zakaria Abdelha Khegazi from Egypt, on behalf of teachers and trainees respectively, addressed the attendees of the ceremony. Present at the ceremony were also heads of offices and colleges of SYAU including International Exchange Office and College of Plant Protection.
