Between July 16 ^th to July 20 ^th, SYAU president, Professor Zhang Yulong headed a delegation to visit Warsaw University of Life Sciences, Poznan University of Life Sciences and Poznan Cooperative Farm in Poland. During the visit, SYAU delegation signed a MOU with Poznan University of Life sciences and investigated the developmental situation of agricultural and agricultural education in Poland.

On July 17 ^th, SYAU delegation visited Warsaw University of Life Sciences and was received by Professor Kazimierz, vice chancellor of Warsaw University of Life Sciences, Professor Bogdan, academic dean of Warsaw University of Life Sciences and the staff of the University’s international exchange office. Both sides had a sincere and cordial talk in the meeting and President Zhang and Vice Chancellor Kazimierz, briefed the history, setting of majors and specialties, schooling characteristics of their respective universities. Warsaw University of Life Sciences, also known as Warsaw Agricultural University was established in 1816 and is ranked the first of all agricultural universities and also a top ten university in Poland.

On July 18 ^th, SYAU delegation visited Poznan University of Life Sciences and professor Grzegorz, president of PULS cordially met with SYAU delegation. In the meeting, the two sides had an in-depth discussion about cooperation possibilities including joint education program, scholar exchange and collaborative research and concluded the meeting with a signed MOU between the SYAU and PULS. After the meeting, members of SYAU delegation take a tour of College of Food Sciences, PULS and some laboratories. Poznan University of Life Sciences currently has 12,000 students and 1600 faculties and can grant bachelor’s, master’s and PhD degrees in majors including agronomy, bio-engineering, forestry, animal science and biology, woodcrafts, horticulture, garden architecture, food science and nutriology, land reclamation and environmental protection, economics and social sciences.
