On April 8 ^th, Professor Wang Tieliang, vice president of SYAU, met with the delegation of Buryat Scientific and Research Institute of Agriculture, Russia and signed with Dr. Lvbson, head of the delegation, an MOU agreement which was aimed to enhance collaborative research, teacher and student exchange visit between the two sides.

At the meeting, Vice president Wang Tieliang briefed the guests SYAU’s development in schooling advantages, discipline building and international exchange and said the meeting could be a great opportunity to promote cooperation between two institutions in research, teacher and student exchange and etc. Dr. Lvbson, expressed their readiness to cooperate with SYAU in collaborative research, especially in precocious hardy maize germplasm resources and related development and research. After the meeting, the delegation was shown around the SYAU research bases and laboratories of College of Biotechnology.

Some staff and related personnel from Office of Science and Technology, Graduate Department and College of Biotechnology attended the meeting.
