Organized by College of Engineering, SYAU, “Northeast Asia Agricultural Engineering---International Academic Seminar on Rice Production Mechanization Technology and Equipment”was held in Shenyang Agricultural University. Professor Zhang Yulong, president of SYAU, attended and addressed the meeting.
   Experts and scholars attending the seminar come from institutions including University of Arkansas, Pennsylvania State University and Chungnam National University and biosensor technology, rice production technology and equipment in China and etc. are among the topics of academic discussion carried out by the participants.
   Over 200 SYAU faculties and students from the College of Engineering, College of Water Resources and College of Agronomy also took part in the meeting. The event has brought the name of SYAU to more recognition and broadened the stage for academic exchange and cooperation between Shenyang Agricultural University and other academic institutions and organizations in advancing science and research in the field of agricultural engineering.
