On the afternoon of 21st, May, in the second floor meeting room of Office of International Relations, president Zhang Yulong and vice president Li Tianlai had a cordial meeting with a group of 5 guests visiting SYAU. They are Marcel Kooijman, director of Netherlands Agricultural Education Council(AOC), Ate Oostra, former Dutch ambassador to China, Richard Schout, director of Netherlands Aequor Center, president of Netherlands Aeres Group, and Hans Blankestijin, officer of International Affairs Department of AOC. Present at the meeting were also heads of Office of Disciplinary Construction, Graduate School, Office of International Relations, College of Food Science and College of Animal Husbandry and Veterinary.
      At the meeting, president Zhang Yulong briefed the guests on SYAU’s general backgrounds including university size and scale, educational structure, educational levels and SYAU’s development in recent years. The hosts and guests also exchanged views on mutually concerned topics including agricultural scientific research, training and cultivation of agricultural teachers, farmer vocational-technical education.
      After the meeting, the Dutch guests were invited to visit SYAU’s School of Continuing Education.
