On November 5th, the international academic journal Food Innovation and Advances (FIA, ISSN: 2836-774X), co-organized by China Agricultural University and Shenyang Agricultural University, passed the review of Clarivate Analytics and started to be officially included in the Emerging Sources Citation Index (ESCI) database, welcoming its first impact factor in 2026.
The FIA was founded in June, 2022, sponsored by the Ministry of Education, hosted by China Agricultural University, co-hosted by SYAU and Zhejiang University, and published by Maximum Academic Press. SYAU Vice President, Professor Li Bin serves as the founding deputy editor-in-chief . The successful inclusion in ESCI marks that FIA's academic rigor, content innovation and international visibility have reached a new height.
Taking agriculture science and food science as the core areas, the journal focuses on "innovation" and "frontier" of the basic research and achievements application in the crossing fields of agriculture science and food science, and is a comprehensive academic journal covering topics across the whole industry chain. Committing to publishing research findings, reviews outlooks and commentaries in such areas as new resource food development, food logistics and preservation, new product development and processing technologies, food nutrition and safety, FIA aims to provide an effective scientific information and communication platform for the industrial and academic circles at home and abroad, and to promote the sustainable development of the food industry worldwide.
